Ocean Grove Band Greece

Some men were born to be heroes.

Some men were born to be legends.

Some men were born to be more than just mere mortals.

And then there is Ocean Grove.

John, Greg, Jack, and Ryan.

Four men.

Men who are just men.

Well, for me Ocean Grove is a band that I have really been into them the last days. They are four men who are just men, but they also are so much more than that. They’re inspiration, they are musicians, they are friends, they are themselves. This band means a lot to me. They make me love playing music, listening to music, writing music even more than i did.

The band was also known as Bulldozer.

One reason that i find them so inspirational is how hard they worked for their EP.

They paid everything for it, to be recorded, mixed, designed, pressed, and shipped; everything with their own money. They don’t have a manager,a record label, or a publicist.

Thats one more reason to check out their music and if you like it, download it. If you dont like it, it’s ok, but i believe it’s almost impossible to not like such music. ;)

They did play their first show on february 17th , at the Troubadour. I would love to have been their, but I couldn’t as I live in Greece.

On March 11th, they have their second show at the Grammercy theatre in New York, so if you are anywhere near, go listen to them. I’d do anything to hear them playing live one day but i can’t. So if you are able to, be there.

Here is Greg Garbowsky. He was born on September 10, 1986 in New Jersey. He is the bass player.I think sometimes he also sings for the band.

Then, there is John Lloyd Taylor. He is the lead vocalist and the guitarist. He was born on March 23, 1982 possibly somewhere around Pennsylvania, but I’m not that sure.

There is also Ryan Liestman. He was born on September 25, 1982 . He is the keybordist and he also does some vocals. Ryan started a band called The Rule in high school and continues to write and perform with them as their front man.

And the youngest one is Jack Lawless. He is the drummer. He was born on September 20, 1987. He grew up in Middletown, New Jershey.
